Gents: I'm looking for a description of this regiment's uniform at Tel-El-Kebir (1882). I know they wore red tunics, dark blue trousers with a red stripe on the seam, valise equipment, and carried a Martini-Henry rifle. It would appear they had no piping around the cuffs. What about white piping on the tunic (should straps, collar, etc.)? Was their collar dark blue? If you have an color image, please post it in your response?
