Good for you! I stumbled upon acrylic paint pens last year. They cut my average painting time per figure, in half! They gave me new hope of catching up. Now that I have finished painting around 30 figures within the past month, I need to schedule some games to get them into combat. Hoping your freshly finished figures will see some table time soon, as well! Cheers! |

For the monopose figures, I find that altering some of them is worth the time to break up the look of a unit. The great thing about it is you don't have to alter a lot of the figures to achieve a good effect, but if you select a few and spread them out, particularly in the front of the unit, it can make the modeling a lot more fun, and improve the look of the unit a great deal, even if you are not planning on spending a lot of time painting them. Amazing what you can do with a cheap little hand drill, some Green Stuff and super glue. |
