Went to Amazon and now trying to decide whether to rent SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON for $4 USD or buy it for $10. USD In the meantime, they had THE GLORY GUYS free on Prime. Screenplay by Sam Peckinpah who did not like how they finally made it: too much romance. But the last big battle -- more or less Little Big Horn -- is very well done, looks like hundreds of extras, costuming is well done (for Hollywood), and the tactics are at least somewhat accurate: horse holders, volley fire, concern about flanks. Too many casualties but if it bleeds it leads.

If you are into horse opera and have Prime, I recommend it, but you may just want to skip to the (only) battle, last 25 minutes or so.
