Re-reading for perhaps the fifteenth or twentieth time, and taking the time to read (or sing) all the poetry aloud (even all of Tom Bombadil's lines, which are all verse whether italicized or not). Really marveling this go-round at the detail JRRT pours into the physical descriptions of landscapes and terrain.
