What's the most damage a cat (or cats) has caused to your collection?

A) I've never had a cat

Z) I've had cats and it/they've never damaged anything.

Picked my sailing ship models out of their box and dropped them from the table

Leapt onto my workbench and displaced all the paints and models that were on it

Fell asleep on the table during an ECW battle and flattened a load of pikes

to name but three……

A-ish. I've never had a cat, but cats somehow seem to find our home and treat it as a hang-out spot (outside). Never a threat to my miniatures, unless you count potentially tripping over one while carrying stuff to the car before heading out for a game.

And no, we don't ever leave out food or water of any sort.
Currently an all black cat we have dubbed Darth Meow-Meow has settled in on the chairs on our front porch. He actually lives with a family two doors up, but our porch is a regular daily hang out.

Never had a problem. I did not allow any of our cats to play with my miniatures. It was a strict rule. They did not seem to care. (Cats, right?)

We play at a good friend's house.
After each game we leave figures and terrain on the table ("Don't worry. I'll get them tomorrow.")
However, we have to clean up any trees or pipe cleaner markers, because the cat will "get at them". 🙄

I guess that's B-ish?
Not my cat, no figures damaged.
But occasionally, he will move things around in the middle of a game, and last night kept batting at my arm for attention.

Cats and boardgames:
I had SPIs Central Front Series on the table in my bedroom with 3 maps and probably 3000 counters out.

I'd asked my Mum to keep my bedroom door closed as Tiggs (our cat) knew that she could cause mischief and was a bit miffed she couldn't sleep on my bed.

So I came home from school one day and my Mum said "'Fraid Tiggs has got in your room".

I rushed upstairs to find Tiggs sat on Fulda gleefully swatting the 8th Guards Army all over East Germany. She seemed most happy and was surprised that I showed displeasure and ran out the room. She didn't speak to me for a week (she would answer me back quite often that cat 🙄).

We adopted Willow from one of my daughters and Willow promptly attached herself to me. I used to paint in my cellar and Willow was always around. I have a lighted magnifying glass on an armature I was using. Looked away for a second and when I went back to it there was Willow's face filling the whole of the magnifying glass looking at me. One of my best memories of the girl.
We adopted Jack from another daughter. Jack is a enormous long haired puddy tat that loves to nap on my table top. No major damages done, but the fur….

A friends cat ate both Russian airborne corps from Third Reich (which we used to leave set up). Fortunately we had a spare set…

I have a female Asian short hair that likes to steal my sable brushes, she chews them for a bit and then hides them. She ignores the synthetic ones.

I ended up buying the collapsible food covers for picnics. Shields Up!
