Hello! I've been wanting to build a Victorian/1877 Russo-Turkish War Ottoman Army. While on paper this should be easy, turns out many of the products I plan to buy has been out of production for years. So far, this is my plan:

- Infantry: Easiest part, I plan to use Waterloo's Anglo-Egyptians as regulars, supported by dismounted troops from HaT's Egyptian Camelry. If that's not enough, there are Bashi-Bazouks, Zouaves, and Strelets' Crimean War Ottoman troops. Basically, plenty of options.

- Cavalry: Probably the hardest part. Strelets' Turkish cavalry has been OOP, so I will primarily proxy using HaT's Camelry troops mounted on horses. I also plan to snip off any excess heads to be mounted on other cavalry with similar uniforms, most likely British 17th Lancers. Cossacks and Basmachis can also be used as Circassian or Kurdish auxies/irregulars

- Artillery: The major issue will definitely be the crew, which i could replace using infantry models. If i'm not feeling particularly lazy, I might also replace the heads of other arty crews with fez heads

Any tips to help me build this army, or find boxes that are OOP are very much welcome. Many thanks!
