In no particular order.

West Side Story. Very Shakespearean tragedy. Oh, wait…🙄
Fantastic music. Superb dancing.

Singing in the Rain. Fun!

The Music Man. Fun fun fun.

Obviously, if the topic is "favorite", there are no wrong answers. Unless it's "Rocky Horror…"

I don't know I have a favorite.

I like Paint Your Wagon for the comedy and Lee Marvin.
But many others.

"What's opera, Doc?" Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. "Kill da wabbit!" to the tune of The Ride of the Valkyries.

Oklahoma snd South Pacific. Two great Rogers and Hammerstein musicals. I love Richard Rogers' music. FWIW, he wrote the theme music for the television documentry classic Victory at Sea.

Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Horror set to music.

Jesus Christ Superstar. Classic rock opera.
