Subject: Who is Jason Nichols? Man claiming to be Harry Dresden arrested in Fairfield after disturbing ring camera video emerges | Hindustan Times
I noticed this, since I'm currently reading the latest Dresden book: "12 Month".

Harry Dresden is the main character in a fantasy book series if you don't know.

Watch the full video. Not this man's first rodeo with the law. But obviously he was released back into the public after those first encounters. One of which was with a minor.

In this area of my state, he would have probably been met with more than a shovel.

the homeowner and the suspect were injured when they struggled over a snow shovel the homeowner grabbed in an attempt to protect his family

The snow shovel is an interesting choice of improvised weapon. It's short, so good for use indoors, and the intruder was already inside the house when the homeowner returned. On the other hand, the aluminum blade isn't as sturdy as a regular shovel's and likely to crumple on impact.

The intruder may have been having a psychotic break. Or he may have been Harry Dresden, somehow dropped into the wrong timeline … which can result in a psychotic break.

This story has a better picture of Nichols/Dresden:

I've seen two videos. The one in my attachment, that if you watch it all, amazes you that he was released back into the public after his first encounters with the law, especially when one was with a juvenile.

The other shows him after he came through another door into the house.

As far as he would ever have gotten in mine, or any other home after that point.

His "duster" better have worked for him.

At least he's dressed. Better than the naked burglar/prowler in Fairfax VA.

I stopped reading the Harry Dresden series after, maybe, the 9th book. The stories were all the same. The Bad Guys just got stronger.
Then… Dresden summons the last vestige of will and strength… The End. 🤷

I'd say not as good since the red court series. But I still read them.

15 is slow.

The author went through some divorces and financial loses due to them and then tried suicide by pill. Comes out in the writing of 15.

My least favorite so far.
