Hey, it's a start. Most of these will most likely be gone by the end of the year. I went through the IT Dot Com (bomb) boom and bust in SF. Fewer than 10% of the companies survived for an IPO, including the ones I worked at. A friend of mine is working on some PhD stuff that is over my head, recalibrated "computational physics" in a level no human can understand, including me. he claims it can be pretty scary.
