An excellent battle report. It's a pity you didn't include many photos (obviously joking!). Although I'm saddened by the result, it looks as if it was a lot of fun to game. How long did it take? My pals & I used to use Field of Glory rules & with these, the Romans were nearly unbeatable. Not much fun. We've since changed to Hail Caesar & I think they provide a more balanced game. How do your Kallistra rules go? Will the Picts have a chance to beat the 'Beastly Romans' in a re-match?
