Just watching a YouTube vid, the guy with the annoying countdown while he sorts his sheesh out.

So apparently the two starter boxes (britonia and tomb kings), chaos army box and basically all the AOS dark elves have been pulled.

Still talk of Kislev. Apparently they are toning down Russian influence, which is disappointing. I had hoped TOW, as being WFB, may distance itself from modern sensitivities. I'm not sure what a fantasy old Russia has to do with modern P word.

***Major news*** Apparently, TOW is outselling the other games. The details???

People are being pulled into TOW, a major LOTR rules person. Vid mentions it's a skirmish type game. My mind went straight to mordheim. Who knows.

My guess may be that they will release a new two player starter box, like the old days, with Kislev V dark elves. This would give the best of both styles with new Kislev figures and rereleases dark elves, unless they are redone. No vomit sprues please. Although Kislev V chaos may also be on the cards.

Then some new battalion boxes and units for the others missing mentioned above. Perhaps doing what they should have done from the start and cleaning up the skeletons, one sprue, no vampire counts and no lefty bowmen. Ohh, but one person wanted a plastic bone dragon. Idiot.

Hopefully some actual shelf space in store would be nice, you know, at eye level with more than two boxes.

This all ties into the talk of AOS being reformed as a planet. I think that will get interesting quickly, if TOW is doing so well. I still see a complete merger, more reabsorption back into TOW.

I feel it all depends on mould use. If the tools are being warn out, then multiple games with different minis makes sense, but if tools are only being partly used to the full, then cutting the overall mini amount is logical. Heck, I'm assuming there has been old tools being used for a lot of TOW figures already.

Fun times.

PS

I think the partworks see a lot of mould reuse, but AOS must underperform 40k like crazy. More likely we may see an old world or AOS masquerading as TOW part work come out. If not LOTR.

Just saw the new tomb kings battalion box.

Lefty bowmen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the actual?

Well, obviously they don't get a new sprue.
