I of course have heard of him. Never read any of his stuff before though. A couple of weeks ago I found "Brave Men" at a used book store for just a coupe of bucks, so I thought I would give it a try – am about 1/2 done at present.
It really is a very interesting study of the avergae dude. Several chapters on the contributions of troop types you seldom think about. No wonder the GIs liked him.
