I registered for Little Wars this year for the first time and submitted events to host but now I need to cancel all this. I sent an email detailing this to the LW organizers via their website Contacts page. But in the past, my inquiries to this con have not been answered or acknowledged. Does anyone here have a more direct contact, or even a phone number to call? I post this here hoping someone connected to the con will see it and address these concerns. I don't want anyone who signed up for my events to not be notified about cancellations and unable to sign up for another game. It's bad enough I will lose my badge costs (and I have to cancel my hotel rooms as well). It's all been something of a colossal muck up. PS late update: I did forward my message to CW Moellenkamp at HMGS MW, who I gather is one of the Little Wars bigwigs. So that might do the trick. |

Piper; if you want shoot me a PM and I can pass the info onto the folks I know there and see if we can get an answer from them for you. Murphy |

What were you running? (and best wishes for resolution of your cancellation plan). |

It's all resolved now, so thanks those who chipped in. I was able to contact some organizers and arrange the cancellations. It's been a disappointing but instructional experience, mainly due to my jumping in feet-first before looking and understanding fully how the con is structured. I'll do better in the future. Games were Axis & Allies, Fire & Axe, (boardgames) and one minis series on Ireland 1916. I will try again at Gamehole in the autumn. I'd delete this thread if I knew how, now that it's irrelevant. |

Unfortunately HMGS-Midwest does not have any full time employees. Consequently we all try to respond to requests in a timely manner, while we are doing our day jobs. Since we went live with event registration on April 1st, we have had a large number of requests and questions. Please be patient we will get to your concerns. |

Piper, I believe we made an exception and gave you an opportunity to get a refund for your badge. |
