The Battle of Taiwan

China has unveiled a "future war" scenario featuring drones, robots, and artificial intelligence on the front lines. A new video about Taiwan's military operation against the island's independence forces and their American allies demonstrates a comprehensive approach: strikes with long-range PCL-191 multiple launch rocket systems, loitering munitions, and entire swarms of autonomous systems operating as a single unit.

Particular emphasis is placed on robotic dogs—they move ahead, conduct reconnaissance, clear obstacles, suppress fortified positions, and support the advance of forces. Some are used to counter drones, while others perform assault missions, including coastal support.

Unmanned platforms, including naval ones, deliver these systems to the operational zone, and artificial intelligence coordinates their actions: collecting data, helping to find targets, and directing strikes. This is the concept of networked warfare, where autonomy, reaction speed, and the interaction of all elements within a single digital system play a key role.

Modern conflicts are increasingly moving towards high technology, where it is not the number of troops that decides, but the intelligence of systems.

Have they also unvieled the "Senior CCP Officer Survival Program" as well? Xi is still engaged in his "Stalin-lite" mass purge of the PLA officer corps…

SBminisguy, Hitler also thought the purges weakened the USSR. But when you look at the events of the Iraq War, what happened in Venezuela… Maybe the purges will make China less vulnerable?
But let's not talk politics here. I suggest we discuss only the military aspect. War of the third millennium…
The World War II-style fortifications in the landing zone were touching.

Are you claiming Stalin's purges didn't weaken the USSR?

China has one flaw; nothing has been tested in combat. As Ukraine showed, modern warfare changes on the run. A heavy dependence on e-warfare will attract countermeasures.
