We've been hearing this for years. Also wise comments on his health. Yeah. Sure.

As Doc would say, "Credat Judaeus Apella. Non ego."

If it's real, does anyone really think that things will improve?

Errr, that's "Doc", as in Holliday, not "doc".
😄🙄

What did they say on Hogan's Heros; we don't want to get rid on Col Klink, we could get someone worst.

My Latin is rusty so non ego.

And the system will throw up another; Russia is too corrupt to do better.

(As perhaps also are we, though LESS corrupt; that is a lot of what the current political turmoil here at home is about. Deep state and all of that.)

In general military defeat brings political instability, which MAY produce reform but more often makes things worse.

Well, Doc did not have the the Gàidhlig but if he did he'd say, "Creididh amadan e; cha chreid mise".

I always prefer the Greeks over the Romans, so, "Alloi pisteuetosan; ego d' ou".

I believe little out of Moscow, Tehran or Washington without some sort of independent confirmation. Change a few proper nouns & you could file this story about the latter two.

Wouldn't be surprised as it hasn't gone well
