USN ships calls the "public address system" the "1MC." What is the Royal Navy term for this? |

Yes,Tannoy. It's still the usual word used for any PA suystem in the UK in factories, offices, or public buildings for example. That is the name of the manufacturer. They are still around and make very nice HiFi speakers. |
