I am about to embark on the construction of my first MDF model building (Sarissa Precision's church at Sainte Mere Eglise). Can anyone recommend a source for advice on detailing such a model, particularly on recreating the stone built walls? Thanks.

Not specific to St Mere Eglise but The Tactical Painter does give quite a good acccount of how he 'tarts up' MDF buildings.

I found this book to be absolutely invaluable: link . Thought I was an experienced model-maker, but this is full of useful stuff specific to MDF kits.

I second colgar6's choice, well worth the price and more so since discounted.
