I like these rules for the German Revolution of 1919 to 1923 but have yet to play them. The rules use a clever mechanic for random placement of units in an urban setting which is core to the game. The problem is that I want to run these rules as a convention game and there's a chance that half a side's units will not be placed in the first turn but will have to roll dice to enter. In extreme cases the units may not enter at all. I wonder if allowing all the units to enter on the first turn will break the game. |

I bought them a while ago. Liked them but then lost interest in the project. |

No, I have not played them. Can you plan your scenario around everyone starting on the board? Have everyone roll a d6 and on a 4-6 their troops come in on the second turn? |

79thPA, thanks, good idea worth considering. |

You know, one IS allowed to change the rules that you think won't work, for newbies. It's not like a tournament or anything. Just a thought. 🙄 |
