I've got the entire OR on my shelf (or rather, on three shelves) and of course everyone has the PDFs that are public domain and easily found. But it's just so much. Sometimes I'll grab one volume and skim and invariably come across something interesting. But if I'm not doing specific research I hardly know where to start.

But I'm curious if anyone has found any reports or correspondence that really lights a fire from a gaming perspective. Whether it's an after action report of an action that reads like a battle report you'd see posted here, or an account of a skirmish that would be a perfect scenario, or even interesting tidbits about units, uniforms or equipment. Even stiff that would work for an RPG campaign would be fine.

Thanks!

swammeyjoe: I don't have an answer for you, but I think this is a great question, and I will follow the responses with interest.
