I am going to paint up some Conquest knights for a Trench Crusade – Principality of New Antioch warband. I am going to use the Knights Templar colour scheme (White sur coat with Red cross). What would be a good primer to use, want to get that grimdark look. Also, a recommend for paints or paint sets that could be used. I am used to painting small 6 to 15mm minis so this will be a new challenge 28 to 32mm. Any tips for other miniatures to use would be appreciated as well. Cheers.
