I can't find a single example of a figure standing on one leg while firing (a rifle/MG). Maybe a bow, like a LOTR figure, but I can't think of one. |

There's a viking kicking a door in in the…hmm…Emhar set. But no gun. Obviously. |

Quick— somebody sculpt one! |

There is a bloke firing a sten whilst hopping on one foot in the older airfix ww2 British infantry set. And in the Russian infantry set a man running, one foot off the ground firing a pistol into the air |

So…you are wrong |

This one (at left)?
I think the Russian is just waving it about.
We really had to hunt for one! Thanks |

Russian guy is an officer waving his troops forward. Sten guy is firing from the hip while charging, perfectly good suppressing fire on the move move. |

Yeah, but he looks like he's folk dancing…. |

Okay. You're wrong. Take my word for it. There. That was easy. |

Aha. A Mandela effect! We all remember hating something that didn't actually exist. |

Ah, but Russian officers will fire their pistols into the air while folk dancing. n.b. there's a rather famous photo of a Soviet political commissar of the 220th Infantry Regiment in WW2 looking very much like that pose. |

While not firing – The Russian MPC figure standing on one leg I always thought was one of the goofier looking poses

I am curious… What do you use as the indicator that he is actually firing, and not just advancing, weapon at the ready? With that interpretation, one could assume no figure is ever shown actually discharging their weapons, they are just at the "Aim!", portion, or moment. I could attach a tuft of white pillow stuffing to the end of his barrel, to clinch the situation. I've seen this done by others, primarily for black powder era gaming. Cheers! |

I have a 20mm plastic figure of a US soldier running with an m-60 machine gun with the appearance of firing from the hip. He is perched on one foot. I believe he is an old ESCI figure. |

What do you use as the indicator that he is actually firing His finger is obviously pulling the trigger… |

Ah, but Russian officers will fire their pistols into the air while folk dancing. That's true – but it also means we agree that he's firing that pistol…whilst standing on one foot…QED

I know I've seen a figure firing with the rifle at the shoulder while running, but I can't remember where from. (It's not from Atlantic, where you'd expect such poses, but then again… ;-) |

Just finished clipping 28mm TTC Skeletons. There are at least three poses. One running with a bow, one running with spear and one running with a kopesh. I was not looking for them. Both legs are molded together with one calf next to a foot. |
