Havent read yet – Nigel Seed – The Thomas Mason Trilogy – First novel is Punjab!

The Diary of an Indian Cavalry Officer, 1843-63: Before, During, and After the Mutiny, edited by Richard Morgan

From a slightly earlier time frame are the Matthew Hervey Adventures – by Allan Mallinson – Starts during Napoleonic Wars and goes up through the 1830s in India – in 11 books
