The fun of playing battles from the First Anglo-Dutch Wars continues on JJ's as my pal Capt. Steve picks up from the last AAR recreating the Battle of Kentish Knock with the renewal of the duel between Blake and Tromp as the English and Dutch fleets meet off Dungeness headland.

As in the previous AAR I've linked to an initial post where Steve lays out the history behind the battle and his planning and preparation to recreate it, with the situation it presents producing a 'knife-fight' of a battle as the two fleets are forced into close action by the proximity of the Kent coast.
