What pulp style books are out there that take place in the Arctic or Antarctic? I just finished "Arctic Drift" by Cussler. I am working on an Arctic Pulp project and looking for inspiration/ideas.

There was at least one Biggles book set in the Antarctic.

"The Terror" by Dan Simmons. And +1 for "At the Mountains of Madness."

Other than seeing the name on TMP, I am afraid that I don't know who Biggles is.

Yes, good call, Bill.

I just stopped by my local library and picked up a copy the Lovecraft book. It looks very interesting. I also picked up the First season of "The Terror." I now see that the book has been recommended. For now, I will presume they are related.

Thanks to all so far.

I seem to remember at least one Doc Savage.

Lots of non-fiction arctic exploration books – as well as non-fiction and speculation about the Northwest Passage and regarding the Franklin expedition (the subject of "The Terror" novel and TV series) – would give you great background and inspiration for arctic pulp adventures.

Ice Station by Matthew Reilly.
