Hi guys I've started the process of making the vehicles for opposing forces for my 15mm mega city/cyberpunk/necromunda project, I've 3D printed a bunch of vehicles, all free files, and added weapons, rams etc to a bunch, I'm aiming for 5-6 opposing factions, Stealers cult (the larger purple vehicles) a techno samurai/yakuza gang, a cyberpunk style gang, a chaos cult type gang, a killer clown style gang, and an opposing police department, each faction will have half a dozen cars, a bunch of bikes, a war rig, and an armoured vehicle capable of carrying a section sized group, I have painted up a handful of the vehicles as a test, most are gang cars and the mystery van (I'll do a sci fi version of the scooby gang for shits and giggles) I'm still not sure of the finish I want, here they are glossed and clean, and look pretty good, but I'm going for more a gritty grim dark look, so I might matte them and do heavy weathering. link

Looking good man! Personally, I like the shiny look. One must assume that even in the miserable future, people take some pride in the appearance of their vehicles, especially gangsters with those sweet rides. |

Yeah, the gloss look does look good, which is making it hard to press forward with my original weathering plan. |

Love the Mystery Machine Van. Scooby-Doo! |

I had almost asked if the police vehicles might not have something comparable to aircraft nose art. I think those civilian vehicles more than make up for the lack of nose art on the police vehicles, though! Grelber |

Wow, Dn, those look great. I also like the finish -- they look like sci-fi versions of the old Matchbox diecast models! I really like The Mystery Machine… now I am craving a Scooby Snack, LOL! |

That is fantastic, almost psychedelic, work. I agree with the shiny finishes. I'll bet Black Ubume rides in vehicles like these. TMP link |
