The poor French didn't stand a chance against that German horde. I really enjoyed all the extra pictures that you included of the people, equipment, reenactors, and such. I read it twice and saved it. Thanks again.

keep in mind that the German victory conditions are very difficult and in that scenario the Germans did not complete their requirements for victory. The French won the game but as expected lost the battle.

If we do the battle again I am going to do a variant of the scenario. There was another French division within the sound of the guns and as usual did not respond. Also Douay did not have his entire division with him. So I am thinking of adding a three brigade division and 2nd Division it's missing brigade and giving the French a free deployment.

I have often played a "what if?" scenario with the Battle of Froeschwiller where the 5th Corps actually comes to the aid of MacMahon's 1st Corps. It is always interesting, and the French even win sometimes. Thank you for the kind words about the Old Glory 15mm figures.

Always a pleasure, OC. Much thanks!

Looks great. Do you have a good orbat for the battle? Particular the Crown Princes forces.
