Earlier this month I ran a 1/72 Miniatures game using the rules from the board game Assault Red Horizon 41. This was a further revision of a scenario I had run before with the Russians counterattacking in Dec 1941 in an attempt to retake an outlying district of Leningrad. The Russians brought heavy KV-1s and KV-2s along with the usual horde of infantry. The Germans countered with 88s, minefields and position inside buildings. The system converts well to miniatures provides a thematic feel. Instead of retyping it all here I will refer you to the blog post I put up on our club website.
