A big scenario for my buffalo hunting game will be three families defending their butcher site after a hunt. Each family will have its hunting lodge and its small horse herd nearby, with the warrior(s) resting after the hunt and preparing for night defense. The women are butchering and of course tending children. Elders help as they can. Nuisances like birds and coyotes have to be fended off, and serious predators from wolves to grizzlies will appear. Three families amount to about a dozen women and children and elders, and the two Brigade packs provide such. (I will add the Gringo40 civilains next order.) The Brigade sculpts are really fine, and the photos in Lon's catalog do not do them justice. One woman is on her knees holding a butchering tool. A man holds a coiled lariat. A seated man is gesturing, clearly making a point. Excellent details and useful poses. Bravo!! |

I see that he now has teppees out as well, and they look pretty nice. |

Yes they are, but I have made my own teepees with wooden disks and piano wire and paper towels and elemers. Look pretty good, takes a while to make because each step has to dry, but cost pennies in material. I may get his at some point though. |

Speaking of teepees (tipis): link I mounted mine on the Chinese plywood plaques you find in Walmart craft dept. taking precautions, I washed them in soapy water. Prime with spray paint and paint. |

Wow, thanks John! I am really enjoying my book of Caitlin's paintings (free borrowed from Kindle unlimited) and he has done lots of different tipis/teepees/cornicle tents. These look to be a good size for hunting camp shelters which I will need for the butchering scenario. |

They're "Green army men" plastic. Take it from there when you paint them. There's primer out there for plastic, but I just used my regular Rustoleum. I didn't notice any mold release, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. |
