I'm neck deep in this convention this year. 1: Arrived Wednesday. 2: Thursdays Flea Market Sales (I'll be selling off a lot of stuff, and if you like unopened SST box stuff, I'll have a bundle I am selling).. 3: Thursday night setup for the games. 4: 2 Games on Friday. 5: 2 Games on Saturday. (Saturday morning being a focused Parents/Kids game.) Break down afterwards. 6: HMGS MW meeting, and last run through the vendor area. Lots of work, and stuff to do, but it's a great convention run by a great group and great players! Seriously, if you have been on the fence about coming, get off the fence and come join us. |

I really like this convention and recommend it too. Oddly this Spring, I submitted my game submissions a month ago, but have received no confirmation that they are accepted. The website still indicates they need to be reviewed. Not sure what's up with that. |

Joe…IIRC, they usually wait until around Mid March to start verifying games and times. I really can't say enough about this convention. It's really well run, and with no politics or the "usual griping" that I have seen in so many other cons over the last four decades. The new location is great, and I've been going to this ever since they had it across the street from the old Pheasant Run… |

Looking forward to seeing everyone there. I have ben working hard with the vendors and we have 32 lined up so far. And the staff is working on scheduling and table allocation. If you are still having issues, please feel free to email me at kcabai@aol.com. See you soon. |

Everyone, I got a message from Tom today that all my games were approved and I'm good to go. The staff and folks running this convention have always been great to work with – it must have been an odd anomaly i suppose – but it's all fixed now. I'm looking forward to running my Star Wars Tantive IV boarding action game from the opening scene of Episode IV. All 3d printed decks (3 total), 18mm troops, droids, Princess Leia, etc. Lots of chaos. Should be a fun time. |

This year my son is running games and I will be assisting. Little Wars was his first game convention twenty years ago. He's running Lion Rampant with two scenarios featuring Norman's vs Arabs in Sicily. I made terrain for him but it's his show. I decided to come help him and just play this year, but I couldn't resist submitting a Sunday morning Battleship free for all battle. I like to a less serious event before I leave the show, so I hope you Sunday morning folks will attend. |

That is fantastic your son will be running his own game, I am looking forward to seeing that. Hey other Dads out there, this is great way to really introduce the younger generation to gaming. (Hide the Xbox controllers that weekend) Thank you for doing this.

I finally stopped dithering and dawdling, overcame some glitches with the Tabletop Games system, and submitted three game events (in four sessions) last night. Waiting for review/approval/confirmation now. But my badge is set (and was re-set by TTG for some reason) and my room booked. My first Little Wars! I look forward to hosting some things and playing in some things. |
