A series of posts covering the significant battles of the First Anglo-Dutch War is continued by my pal, Capt. Steve, as he turns his attention to the Battle of Kentish Knock, fought on the 28th September 1652 in the approaches to the River Thames, using the rule set 'General at Sea'.
In a previous post Steve outlined his plans for this game which is reported here and I have linked this post with his previous one illustrating his ideas for the set up for the battle and his representation of the two fleets involved.

Wonderful to see all these rigged Anglo-Dutch ships. Getting inspired to look at the General At Sea rules again |
