All, anyone have any experience with these figures? I'm looking at the late Republican Romans for several projects and the ability to pick helmets, shields, cloaks all look pretty cool. The designs look great for the whole line as well. I have one (just one) test figure from that line that was given as a sample and it is also very good. Can I expect a fairly large order to be of similar high quality? How well does the more flexible resin hold paint? Opinions solicited…. |

I have printed quite a lot of Cromarty Forge miniatures in both 10mm and 15mm. Never had a problem with resin holding paint, both speed paints, contrast paints, enamels or acrylic. The Late Republican Romans (10mm or 15mm) are brilliant figures across the whole range, both infantry and cavalry. I mainly use the standing figures and not the attacking figures for the heavy infantry. Just my preference. For me, they are the top of the range figures for 10mm and 15mm. |

Thanks much Trojan; do you print using the same resin that they use (I'd be ordering physical figures as I've not gotten a 3D printer as of yet)? |

I have several armies from Cromarty but I printed myself. Now I am painting CArthaginians and starting to print Republican Romans. Here's a late roman army for DBA.
