Back in December, 2025, I asked the group for suggestions for some out of the ordinary artillery for a Hordes of the Thing army. One clever suggestion from "Eumelus" was a giant throwing stones. I looked for such and did not find one I liked until on Amazon I found a Reaper Bones giant with a club. Great, an easy customize to change club to a stone. Here it is:) Still working on the other suggestions.

Years ago I was painting figs to trade for bare metal. I had a goblin throwing a rock. I filed the rock, to create some flat facets, painted the "rock" bright red then, using a 5/0 brush, painted some white numbers on the facets.

I called him Chuck A. Dye.

My "client" was very pleased.

Very nice work! You did a great job giving the fellow a somewhat tortured expression, just as if he's at heart a peaceful fellow who's been forced to participate in this nasty business by cold-hearted captors. Looking forward to seeing the other artillery elements you create.

I wish I could join this tournament, I miss HotT.
