I'm moving to Ontario next month and I was wondering how expensive is shipping from AUS or Europe? Is it more/less than shipping to the US? |

I am not a Canadian (though I have been there in the past), but as European I can comment that the shipping costs from here tend to be the same to both US and Canada. I have never been to Australia, but checking the Eureka Miniatures websited, they charge AU$27 to ship to US and AU$25 to other countries outside Australia: link |

As the token Canadian, pretty much the same as shipping to the US |

I stopped ordering from the U.S. years ago. Since the U.S. left the world Postal system, the U.S.P.S. costs to Canada became prohibitive. I order most of my miniatures from the U.K. and most retailers have reasonable postal rates and lately the shipping time has been between 5 to 10 days. I last ordered from Australia about a year ago and found the shipping rates about the same or slightly higher (understandable) as the U.K. The AUS dollar is roughly equivalent to the CAD dollar. Welcome to Ontario! |

Canadian here. I gave up ordering from the USA years ago as well, the postal rates were just unacceptable, often more then the cost of the item itself. I order my miniatures from the UK and EU where I find the postage costs are reasonable. |

I gave up ordering from the USA years ago as well, the postal rates were just unacceptable, often more then the cost of the item itself. Same here, I'll only order from USA if it's an excellent product that I really really want and I can't get elsewhere. And since "Liberation Day" I won't order any physical goods from there. |

Yup. As a shipper I used to be able to send to Canada from the US for pretty much the same price, maybe +10%. Now the cheapest I can send a package is about $20. USD So that's one pack of 15mm minis for $20. USD |

I find that as a Canadian citizen living in Ontario that ordering anything outside of Canada gets dinged with GST at 13% (combined Federal and Provincial sales tax us Canada Customs of $9.95 USD plus taxes. I was going to order a pack of minis from Brigade Games in the USA which was about $6 USD USA but the shipping was $30 USD USA. Ridiculous. Now I enter what I would like to purchase and go to check out to get a shipping cost then usually delete the order. I try to source within Canada but mist things I would like to purchase I pass on because of the shipping, GST taxes and Canada Customs fee. I have saved a lot of money by not buying…🙄 |

That's odd Hitman. I've been adding to my lead mountain for decades from overseas, and I think I've been hit with duty perhaps three times. I just got a $250 USD order from Irregular without any charges or duty whatsoever. How do you get your shipments? If you use the regular mail system, it is extremely unlikely that you'll get hit with customs. Private couriers, like UPS or FedEx will charge duty (and sometimes outrageous brokerage fees). And of course don't order anything from the US anymore. I used to occasionally order things from the US and zip across the border to pick them up, but not anymore. Like most Canadians, I won't head south unless it's on business and completely unavoidable. |
