This weekend is Dundracon, one of the San Francisco Bay Area's big, general, gaming conventions. dundracon.com It will be at the Santa Clara Marriott as usual, and will run from Friday through Monday. I haven't had a chance to look at the game offerings, but there is always a robust miniatures showing. I'll be there for probably all of it. See you there! |

I planned to go, had a hotel room and two games on the miniatures schedule, but I had to cancel everything a few weeks ago. Too much life in the way this year. Sometimes I really hate being an adult. - Ix |

I will be there! I'm running a game of The Fantasy Trip Friday at 8pm and Quar Tractor Assault Saturday at 5pm. The latter is using some new, half-baked, tractor-focused rules. The minis are only okay, but the game should be interesting. The Crusaders will try to use tractors to spearhead an infantry assault across no-quar's land. The infantry are abstracted, the players are all driving platoons of tractors, trying to clear the way. If you ever wanted to see a lot of Quar tractors can the table (at 1/300) this is your game! There will be crazy vehicles bogged down in wire, mud, trenches, and just plain dirt. |
