Russian artillery has been famous since the Middle Ages. It was a great stupidity to stop its development for forty years… I'm glad our stupid leaders have finally wised up… As Peter the Great said, inviting the Swedish generals to a feast after the Battle of Poltava: "Thank you, teachers!"

Yes, Ukraine's forces bested the Russians in almost all engagements. Again the Russians have gained little ground and suffered very high losses.
