This is a brigade a side level scenario that took place during the Battle of Whitemarsh. Whitemarsh is often completely overlooked as a battle since a general action was ultimately not committed to by Howe [who should have and would have won, IMHO].

However, there were two probing attacks made, which would make for a great skirmish game straight up – modified they'd also make a good smaller game.

There were also two spoiling attacks made, each is a good fight as they were in rough ground and the action got hot! Waverly Heights is the first of them, fought by BGen Charles "No Flints" Grey and BGen James Potter [and a few others…leadership was a bit disorganized].

There's an historical write up and enough info to modify the scenario to your available units and rules of choice. Another post has a battle report with a play through of the entire fight.

Worth checking out – I rarely see good work done on a scenario I don't know much about:
