Looking for 6-8 GW plastic Bretonnian yeomen horses, like the ones these are riding, or for someone that makes horses of a similar size/shape that would fit GW riders:
I think Chaos Marauders and some Empire troops like pistoliers used the same horses: auction It is hard to find the original GW horses (unless you buy them with the GW riders too, which can get expensive), so I think my best option is to find someone that makes a similar-sized horse with the same look (medieval/fantasy, no saddle, just a saddle cloth, etc.). Has anyone found a company that sells horses like that separately (no riders)? Thanks in advance! |

A few years ago, I was able to purchase quite a few riderless horses from Old Glory. I selected the type and they came with no saddles. Not sure how they would scale out against GW. |

Black Tree Design are the closest I have found. Some Redoubt and to a lesser extent Front Rank horses work (the Front Rank medieval figures and riders scale very well with Bretonnians). |

Thanks everyone for all the tips!!! Probably sticking with a US company due to tariffs so maybe Wargames Atlantic or BTD. |

I have a box of Wargames Atlantic horses somewhere. I have not assembled them yet, but they seem to me slimmer than the GW plastic horses (which look rather well fed in comparison). Mixing the horses within a single unit might not work well, and you might need to bend the riders legs or putty up the saddle cloth to provide a better fit. Wargames Atlantic also offers a second plastic horse set, with some differences in design: link |
