I love The Mamas & The Papas but Cass Elliot as a solo artist is underwhelming. She's the second best singer from the group (well behind Denny) and had less range than Michelle. She got a lot of mileage out of her personality. Also, are we talking purely artistry or are we judging them as people? |

Loved Chicago, disliked Peter Cetera. Early on, his vocals were fine, but something about his voice really started to annoy me in later albums. Got to the point to where I couldn't listen to and of his solo albums. |
