The Pied Piper ed the children into a tunnel that came out in Romania, where their descendants later pursued vampires and Frankenstein's monster with torches. Remember how the townsfolk were wearing lederhosen in the movies?

As a bagpiper myself, and who coincidentally played the role of the Pied Piper in children's theatre long years ago (so it was Fate!), I approve of this post and link!
