Can you tell I'm excited!?

HMGS-MW is putting on another yowza convention.

Good people, good vendors, good times, good food, good games!

We are soooooooo looking forward to it.

Based on how we ate last year, I'll probably gain 5-6 lbs.

And Marriott is going to try to honor my request for the room upgrade I got last year. If not theyr're trying to match it.

Tableside delivery for Mexican and German dishes, as well as some very VERY nice restaurants.

Plus drinks and cigars…

I have my room as well. Tableside food service isn't something I see as most venues are no carry in and have food service.

This will be my first year. I've decided to run some games, too! Murphy, I enjoyed your blog posts about Little Wars--sometimes finding pics and info about the con is slim.

Yes to all you skeptics, there can be good food at a convention. We have approached this from several angles. First all of all we able to negotiate our hotel contact, without a food and beverage minimum. This translates to lower prices overall.

The hotel restaurant has tastier than average breakfast buffet (all you can eat) and the dinner menu is even better. Plus we have a "Grab-n-go" for Burgers, Brats, Pizza and the like, located in the gaming hall.

However the key attraction last year was the table side food service from Crazy Tortas. Excellent Mexican food ordered and delivered to your gaming table. It was such a success they will be back this year along with the Schnitzel Platz. Now you will have option for German food as well. Both restaurants are within a short driving distance, if you want the sit down experience.

Of course the area is also teaming with other options.

In regards to the hotel, we have already sold out of our first block, and have just added an additional set of rooms. So get yours now.
