Departing the shipyards this week are three 1/3000th scale La Combattante fast attack boats. They will see service in the growing Cold War Libyan Navy. A potted history of the class can be found here: link Below, two La Combattante boats are supported by two Nanuchkas as they sortie towards Yorktown in 1986.

Excellent work with these. I love the labels and basing for the sea. I have 1/2400 scale missile boats and use David Manley's Bulldogs Away ruleset. I planned to use the La Combattante and Nanuchkas for a hypothetical naval conflict in the early 80s between Egypt and Libya. |

I'm glad I read the article. They approached the USS Yorktown. It would be a great sci-fy scenario. The Libyans uses time warping techno to reverse the American Revolution and sends the force to Yorktown to assist the British defeating the French Fleet. |

Thanks for the positive feedback on the presentation PAR. A scenario involving naval elements of Egypt and Libya navies is a great idea. |
