With a developing collection of 28mm AWI miniatures it was time to start building some specific terrain items to go with them, and in my most recent post, I've taken a look at the process of putting together the snake rail fence kits from Charlie Foxtrot and the redoubts and emplacement sets from Ironclad Miniatures.
I happen to enjoy terrain making, and both these sets were fun to put together and should compliment the figure collection nicely when out on the table.

Lovely! I'm doing some old redoibts from Gallia miniatures and always wonder about the ratio of pile dirt to grass that was once there. |

Hi Chaps, Thanks for your comments. I haven't built terrain for a few years now and quite enjoyed the change of theme and find myself now eying up other buildings and structures in the ‘to-do' pile with a level of enthusiasm, whilst keen not to get sidelined from the figure work hopefully running in parallel. What fun and a very enjoyable challenge to have. JJ |
