I've been a games journalist since 2007, but still there isn't much video games coverage that feels like it's specifically for people like me. So I'm creating a home for it: Mothership The Guardian: link |

Typical Guardian. Is this where I rant that there are no drawing or colored pencils videos specifically designed for old men? What about oil pastels? |

Well, I don't think you're the target demographic… |

Wishing them the best in their endeavors. I really mean that. But I have to ask, "Why would I, an old, heterosexual guy, like me, tune into Mothership?" I suppose curiosity as to what women, especially gay women, like or are interested in by way of video games would justify one or two visits. Financially, a few curiosity visits just won't cut it, though. The trick becomes creating something that is directed towards their specific audience that has something to say to other groups, as well. It can be done, but it takes skill, and all too often crashes and burns. Grelber |

Wow, that was a blast of WOKE in a very short article. The basic premise I support. I think it would be good to have a site dedicated to women who game. Not just video games however. |

I imagine that the internet is large enough to accommodate this new web site. |

I wish them well and hope they find their target audience, just know it is not me. While reading the article, I was reminded of something Lando Mallari once said "You moon faced destroyer of joy". |

Bill, if you keep passing off The Guardian as news, I shall be compelled to report you to Amelia. |

Well, I don't think you're the target demographic. Truer words have never been spoken. Or typed. |
