What on earth is she carrying? |

She escaped from a tentacled monster, with clothes more or less intact. |

Frederick. Looks like she's carrying the mask of a bearded man … funny, but I thing her boobs might have given her true identity away :) |

I like this one. The pose really shows movement and mastery of balance. The proportions are believable and the weapons are of realistic size. Even her footwear has flat heels, and I assume that they are flexible tatami zori with leather soles. It's extremely confident of her to jump onto that smooth, curved, surface wearing slip-on sandals of any kind. Paint job is fantastic, especially in expressing muscle tone and shadow. I can't figure what she's carrying in her left hand. It is possible that the two photos are of two slightly different miniatures. The hilt of the wakizashi in the left hand photo extends in front of her, but on the right hand photo it does not. Is the hilt bent severely away from the blade? Her head seems to me to be at slightly different angles from her body in each photo. That could just be a result of the angles from which each was shot. |
