For the latest of his legendary Christmas Special games, Mark presented us with a really clever disguised scenario. He took the Battle of the Little Big Horn and translated it into a British colonial expedition in the Sudan. Outstanding game. See the photo-AAR here:

Outstanding idea.

I am going to have to pinch it for a game here.

This was just GREAT! I really enjoyed reading it. Combine that with the fact that I am have a huge interest in the Plain's Indian Wars it just increases my excitement in reading this. I am student of the LBH and find it a very interesting battle. This take was a great twist and shows how well scenarios can be switched to other conflicts and still be just as interesting!

Nicely done!

On a side note. I just acquired massive painted and mounted APW 1866 10mm armies that I can use for BBB! I have files to do the French in 10mm so all is right with the world! I misplaced my copy of the scenario book and have been hoping you would release it in pdf format! Reading your last sentence made me jump for joy at the pdf option! Hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later!

Thank you.

John

Disguised scenarios are great fun, I've rarely played them but the best I put on was a diguised Balaklava that saw the Light Brigade choose to charge the guns.

Thanks, chaps!

Ochoin (Donald, right?), I'm sure Mark will be happy to have inspired others.

PDF of BBB is now available (I see you've already spotted the ad, John).

Happy gaming, all!
