Nice scenario and interesting game report. Maybe in the future you could name the rules played (i suspect Rapid Fire!?).

I play a hybrid set based on Charles Grant`s old (published in the 1960s) "Battle" rules with bits tagged on and stolen from later sets including RF (which Colin and Richard themselves say RF was based on).

Salut Richard -

As another commenter offered on your blog -- Cracking set up and a really enjoyable read!

It is clear you are an enthusiastic student of history. Respect to you for the depth of your research and your willingness to share what you have uncovered. Your games (and your write-ups) are not just contests between gamers, they are history brought to life!

As an avid student of history myself, for me this AAR is as good as any documentary I've seen on TV (or online), or as any article I've ready in a historical journal. I appreciate the opportunity to learn in such an engaging way.

I want to go play at Richard's house. He has ALL the best toys!

Thank you so much :) That is very, very kind of you.

I do work quite hard over my scenarios, I`m glad you enjoy the AARs.

Regards

Richard
