Let us start back at the beginning. Entering the U.S. illegally, is a CRIME. The minute you do it, you are a CRIMINAL. Entering the U.S. illegally is a federal crime under 8 U.S.C. § 1325, making improper entry a misdemeanor punishable by fines or up to 6 months in jail for a first offense. Subsequent illegal reentry is a felony (8 U.S.C. § 1326) punishable by up to 2 years, or more with prior criminal convictions. * Visa Overstay: Remaining in the U.S. beyond a visa expiration is a civil violation (not a criminal act), but it leads to removal and potential future bans. Now what is the purpose of ICE. Key purposes and functions of ICE include: * Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO): This division manages all aspects of the immigration enforcement process, including identifying, arresting, detaining, and removing immigrants who are subject to removal or are unlawfully present in the U.S.. * Homeland Security Investigations (HSI):This branch is responsible for investigating transnational crime and violations of immigration and customs laws, such as human trafficking, terrorism, illegal movement of goods, and financial fraud. * Border and Interior Security: While working alongside U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), ICE's primary mandate focuses on interior enforcement. So ICE is responsible for enforcing the laws related to immigration laws. Now we had the Biden Administration and its happy invasion of immigrants. The Biden Administration decided to open the borders of our country. Allowing millions of illegals free access across our border. Not only allowing it, they REWARDED many of those doing so. They also continuously LIED to us, saying the border was secure. They did this with a willing MSM cover up (with the exception of FOX News). When they could no longer lie, they than came up with a new lie: "They needed Congress to pass a monetary Bill", to give them more money to close the border, blaming the Republicans in Congress and of course Trump, when this bill did not pass it. All proven to be a lie within the first 2 weeks of the Trump administration. (Border closed and locked down. NO BILL needed). President Trump ran for reelection on a platform of removing those here illegally. Not just the "worst of the worst"! Those were to be just the first if possible. So to summarize: We have laws against illegal immigration. We have a law enforcement agency that is hired to enforce the laws. We had an administration that allowed millions to enter illegally. Many violent criminals, gang members, child molesters, rapist and terrorists. Many of which COMMITTED those crimes again, on our soil and against actual US citizens! We have a President who promised to remove these people. So what is happening? Surprise! ICE is out doing their job! That job goes smoothly in Red States and Cities. Most of the time, smoothly in Blue Cities in Red States. BUT! In Blue states, especially those in sanctuary cities, they encounter politicians and a small group of hardcore activists, who do anything in their power to impede that process. They do it sometimes peacefully and sometimes NON PEACEFULLY. Many times breaking the laws doing so. With no help from the city police, because the politicians will not allow them to do so. Now who are they protecting? One can delude oneself in believing they are protecting fellow citizens. But that is only a delusion. You can say they are defending our rights. But that too is a lie. Why? Because they did not defend or care about the rights of actual citizens before when they allowed and protected these illegals to begin with. The rights of those actual citizens who were killed, raped, molested or had other violent crimes committed against them by these same illegals! The actual citizens, whose tax money was used to aid these illegals, with shelter, medical, schooling, fire, police.. etc. etc. The politicians defend them for 3 purposes: 1. potential votes. Future or current. 2. Congressional representatives, (based on population count, legal or illegal) 3. Electoral votes ( again based on population count, legal or illegal). Oh, and ALWAYS to impede the President. Yes there are a few others reasons, but those are worse. And those out in the streets? Well, first there are the paid protesters. Than Of course the haters of anything Trump. Yes the TDS or as I refer to them, the TDA ( Trump Derangement addiction) individuals. Add the haters of our country, laws and heritage. How many Palestinian flags did I see in the NYC protests yesterday? Lastly, some deluded and brainwashed, who actually believe what their politicians, teachers and media have been telling them. But the bottom line is; they are just protecting CRIMINALS . Criminals who have committed many, many crimes, again against ACTUAL US CITIZENS! They may shout: Renee Nicole Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti! I'll shout back: Laken Riley, Kayla Hamilton, Jocelyn Nungaray, Rachel Morin, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, Nate Bake and so many, many more!! If you are up in arms about Good and Pretti, why were you not up in arms about Ashley Babbitt too? No difference, unarmed and shot and killed by an officer in Congress. Sadly in the end Good and Pretti died attempting to protect….. criminals. Laken, Kayla and the others…. because OF criminals, lies and for political gain. |

Now who are they protecting? One can delude oneself in believing they are protecting fellow citizens. But that is only a delusion. As the esteemed philosphers of Looney Tunes once said -- Don't Forget the Gravy! Democrat power is now founded on an urban ecosystem revolving aroung legal and illegal immigrants. The are a ready focus for racial politics and funding. The higher your population, the more Federal $$ you get so they have used the Biden-era change to Census rules and counted ALL illegals for population. In addition to more Congressional seats than they should have, this provides a massive source of $$$ for patronage and grift – as we see in Minnesota. Never has one Party stolen so much, from so many, for so few… |

This was Governor Hochul of NY today or yesterday. "Governor Kathy Hochul has stated that undocumented individuals who commit crimes in New York should be arrested, tried, imprisoned, and deported. Her proposed "Local Cops, Local Crimes Act" aims to prevent local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE on tracking down people who have not committed crimes, while still allowing for the deportation of those who do." She is not alone, same in Minnesota, Oregon, California ….. So only AFTER the illegal commits a crime (other than being illegal to begin with) in the U.S. can they be apprehended. Really THINK about this. Only after the illegal commits a murder, rape or any other crime AGAINST, more than likely, an actual US citizen, is the illegal to be apprehended, tried and sent home. You, your families, friends are EXPENDABLE! The illegal means more to them, than YOU do! Has more rights to them, than YOU do! How can anyone accept that??? How can anyone agree with that!? |

35th – a couple of points. Cops don't stop every guy doing 68 on the interstate -they protect us by catching the guy going 90. Illegal entry and violent crime…What does the data show? What are police chiefs telling us? Local informants – none left by now, I guess. What are the regional and local trends? Infiltrate, find the leaders, work with them to get intel – old school. I think its likely that the Feds have alienated just about everybody who could have made their jobs easier. The tactics were for the media, IMO, showing how tough everybody is. For every X post or social media video about violent illegals committing crimes, there is one about ICE escalating a situation instead of resolving it. I can't watch anymore. Again, IMO…and the President's… ICE needs leadership. They are making their own jobs way harder. This gets them no local intel from the community, which instead has built a network of dissent and resistance. The guys who drove away from Pretti the first time likely did the right thing – the last thing you want to give the protesters is another freakin' martyr!!!…and push the divide into more violence. The next guys Pretti met maybe did not think about this, apparently. But I don't know what they were thinking. I feel for them, a tough spot. |

Tort, Not really a good comparison. But I'll play with it. That speeder is breaking the law. The speeder knows it. The officer has the discretion to pull any speeder over. Whoever and whenever they want. If they do, they are not immediately met by a hostile crowd trying to impede their enforcement. By politicians setting up sanctuary cities for speeders. They don't have judges stopping them from enforcing the speeding laws. They and their families are not doxed and threatened. They don't have to hide their faces because of it I'll add, if the officer tells them to get out of the car, they had better do so. .. one illegal committing a crime is one too many and one totally unnecessary. We know we have many committing crimes, fraud and leaching off the taxpayers. We only have issues with apprehension in BLUE Cities and BLUE states. We either wanted the invasion of illegals into the country or we don't. If you want our laws enforced, then they have to be enforced. The current regime did not create this problem. They are just trying to rectify the disaster of the previous one. Ice would not be necessary in those cities and states now, if the politicians who are now fighting them, had not created the problem to begin with! Lastly, These are not spontaneous protests, contrary to what the MSM wants people to believe. They are well organized, by groups, individuals and countries, that bode us no good. Subject: David Khait on X: "Without organizers, who are paid and funded by foreign oligarchs or progressive donors, there wouldn't be protests I briefly expose how organized everything is as organizers pack up after a protest t.co/tnkrBsOgnE / X link |

If you want our laws enforced, then they have to be enforced. Moreover -- who is in control of customs and border enforcement? The Constitution says the Federal goverment is, the Blue States are rejecting this Federal authority in favor of their own law. So who is in charge? Do we have a Federal government that presides over ALL the States, or just the ones that choose to be contstrained by or follow Federal Law and the Constitution? Bottom line -- are we a Federal Republic or not? I thought we decided that firmly at Appomatox Courthouse, and again on the steps of Little Rock Central High School…do we really want to "re-litigate" this??? |
Tortorella | 31 Jan 2026 10:28 p.m. PST |
35th, I am saying that laws are tools for public safety, but the intent and the letter of the law are not always in sync. There are speed limits to keep us safe, but the greater threat is clearly some dude 25 miles over the limit. You have seen cops make this distinction routinely. Because the big picture is keeping the big time speeder from killing somebody. If you red state/blue state this and we go tit for tat, we will talk right past each other. I am not arguing in favor of the protesters. I am saying my opinion that ICE has been poorly led in Minn. and elsewhere. And Trump has taken action to fix it by sending in the head honcho… |

To prove a point. "Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arrested more than 650 illegal aliens across West Virginia during a two-week statewide operation conducted in coordination with local law enforcement agencies and without protests, federal officials announced. ICE said in a press release Sunday that the operation ran from Jan. 5 to Jan. 19 and involved 14 federal, state and local law enforcement partners. ICE deployed teams to Charleston, Martinsburg, Beckley, Moorefield, Morgantown and Huntington as part of the operation. Law enforcement officials arrested more than 650 illegal aliens, including individuals ICE said pose threats to public safety and national security, as well as others who entered the country illegally. "This operation demonstrates how strong partnerships between ICE and West Virginia law enforcement agencies enhance public safety and the integrity of our immigration system," ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Philadelphia acting Field Office Director Michael Rose said. "By training and supporting our… partners across the state, we've expanded local capacity to identify, arrest and process illegal aliens while ensuring these authorities are exercised professionally and consistent with the law." One individual arrested as part of Operation ICE Wall on Jan. 8 was Sagar Singh, a citizen of India. The operation targeted illegal aliens operating commercial vehicles, and Singh was pulled over for failing to stop at a mandatory brake check station. During the stop, Singh was cited for multiple vehicle infractions, including operating an unsafe commercial vehicle. According to ICE, Singh had previously been ordered removed from the U.S. ……. Another illegal alien arrested during the operation was Ling Yan, a citizen of China also known as Yang Ning, who was previously convicted of two counts of endangering the welfare of children in Ravenna, Ohio. ICE also arrested a convicted child sex abuser, an individual with drug possession convictions and numerous other offenders during the operation. …. One of the agencies that worked with ICE was the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, whose top official praised the results of the two-week operation. "The Sheriff's Office was impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of the agents and how well they interacted with the citizens and local law enforcement officers," Jefferson County Sheriff Tom Hansen said. "Working with such a high-caliber group of agents who were assigned to Jefferson County made the decision to support the initiative worthwhile." "We are also gratified that through this program, we have had the opportunity to remove numerous dangerous criminals from our community," he added." Same ICE. No issues. Red State. Support from the leaders and police. It is not ICE's tactics that needs to change, it is obvious though, what does need to change. I'll add: reported in local news, conservative web and FOX News. Ignored by…. Well you know. 😏 |

I know,,,there are so many stories and so many opinions. I find some some truth in a variety of sources and honestly cannot keep up with the pace. We don't agree, that's okay, 35th. As always.. I was really responding to SB on the red/blue thing. Its going to be easier for any state that voted for POTUS, in my opinion, retribution and all that. There are philosophies about enforcement tactics like with anything else. I would talk somebody down – endlessly if needed, if I could stop an escalation and get intel. BS sometimes, whatever works. And it doesn't always work, like in MINN. at this point. |

I agree that involving minors of any age in this is not a matter for schools. It is up to parents. You might want to check out Patel's trilogy of books for young children. The first is called "The Plot Against the King". A long way from the pigeon driving the bus. There are many other like this. Would make an interesting study in propaganda and indoctrination. I know this happens on the left, but the right does not lack for practioners. |

Tort and Grattan, are Patel's books required reading in schools? "No, Kash Patel's children's books, such as The Plot Against the King, are not required reading in schools." But many LBGTQ books leveled at children were mandatory reading in elementary schools. Anyone can write a children's book. But are they being used to indoctrinate young children? Are they carried in elementary school libraries? Come on.. You know this has nothing to do with in school indoctrination and brainwashing of young children. No comparison at all. 🙄 What if those teachers had made the children wear MAGA red hats. Wear pro Ice t-shirts. Hold up anti immigrant signs and recite previously memorized teachers rhetoric as their own?! The MSM, politicians on the left and probably Many of you would be outraged! What if multiple teachers unions and even the head of the main teachers Union spouted the same pro Ice anti Democrat rhetoric and taught those and other very conservative views to their students on a daily basis. Advocating for the students to leave class and go out and protest in favor of ice and immigrant deportations. Again you would be up in arms. We all know it. Some more today: "Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association (NEA), appeared on a Zoom event last week hosted by the Sunrise Movement titled "Roadmap to Political Revolution," a mass organizing call aimed at opposing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), targeting Trump and phone-banking for a progressive congressional candidate. "I'm honored to now introduce President Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association. Look, there's no way we're going to be able to stop fascism without organized labor," Aru Shiney-Ajay, executive director of the Sunrise Movement and a former member of Students for Justice in Palestine, said as she introduced Pringle on the call, obtained by Fox News Digital. During her remarks, Pringle told attendees that the NEA would leverage its 3 million members and thousands of local affiliates to "advocate," "mobilize," "litigate," and "elect people" aligned with its political goals. "NEA is one of this administration's top targets," Pringle said on the call, going on to label Trump a "dictator." "Dictators always come for educators," she said, adding that teachers help students "question and analyze" and "fight and make this world a better place." Pringle added, "Together, we will demand that this administration stop scapegoating immigrants just so they can implement cruel and callous policies and occupy our communities." Pringle claimed that ICE is attempting to bring "fear and trauma into our schools" by "traveling through neighborhoods, wandering past schools, and following school buses." "They've even assaulted and detained educators and students on school grounds. Educators are seeing this damage every day." The Sunrise Movement is a far-left organization that vows to "force the government to end the era of fossil fuel elites, invest in Black, brown and working class communities, and create millions of good union jobs," according to its website. The core of the group's mission is fighting for the Green New Deal. Sunrise Movement listed "four pillars" that are critical to the Green New Deal, including to "stop the climate crisis" and to "invest in racial and economic justice." " Again Hitler would be so proud. 🙄 |

I will point out, every one preventable and unnecessary. The office of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference has released its annual state immigration report revealing that in 2025, illegal migrants committed 2,183 violent offenses, including 41 homicides, 145 sexual offenses, 11 child rapes, and more. The report found that a total of 21,648 charges were filed against illegal migrants among 11,344 cases between January 1 and December 31 of 2025, averaging nearly 1000 reports per month. However, there are likely even more because one county (Bledsoe) did not submit its data in time for the report to be filed. Migrants representing a total of 119 different countries were cited in the reports where country of origin was obtainable. The categories of crimes revealed a shocking toll suffered by the state's citizens at the hands of illegal migrants. Among the categories of crime, the report includes: 2,183 violent offenses 41 homicides 1,592 assaults 145 sexual offenses 11 child rapes 40 aggravated kidnappings 2,920 DUIs 5,318 cases of driving without a license or on suspended/or revoked 966 Carjackings 36 Felony firearms offenses 66 Assaults on police or first responders The "2025 Immigration Report" is now the second such report in compliance with the state law. The 2024 report, the first of its kind, collected data from only 73 of the state's 95 counties and found that 2,719 non-citizens had been charged with crimes." |

I think I said that the schools have no business in promoting the anti ice agenda to minors. I said that this kind of stuff, on either side, is up to the parents, imo. Patel's books are classic propaganda, imo, unthinkable that this would be published in America a couple of generations ago. So will the teachers have their students out in the streets demanding justice for the 5 people killed by these illegals? Those killed were not even attempting to impede law enforcement in doing their job nor broke any law. "BREAKING: Per multiple federal sources, a semi truck driver arrested yesterday after allegedly running a red light in Hendricks County, IN and crashing into another driver, killing him, is an Indian illegal alien who was caught and released at the border in 2018 by the first Trump administration. I'm told he was a minor at the time. While local police have not yet identified him, federal sources tell FoxNews his name is Singh Sukhdeep, and he received his CDL from the red state of Indiana in May 2025. Photo of the license is provided via federal source. (I have redacted his address). He is now in ICE custody." But the teachers told us they were only arresting Latinos. Maybe he is a Latino Indian. Yes that must be it! Singh is common Spanish name, right? 😏 "This tragedy comes less than two weeks after another illegal alien driving a semi truck killed four innocent people in Indiana. It is incredibly dangerous for illegal aliens, who often don't know our traffic laws or even English, to be operating semi-trucks on America's roads.
