We're looking to game the final battle in "The Wind and the Lion" movie using our 54mm figure collections: Armies in Plastic Teddy Roosevelt Americans; pickelhaube Germans, Arabs (as Berbers), and HaT Industries zouaves as the Bashaw's Palace Guards. Warlord Games BOLT ACTION rules, modified for use with 54mm figures. I'm looking for suitable figures in 54mm to represent Mrs. Eden Pedecaris (Candace Bergen) and her two children in the town during the climactic battle. I am capable of making minor figure conversions, but nothing too radical. Any recommendations ? |

You do realize that In a Real Life historically accurate film, Perdicaris should be played by Ernest Borgnine, or Ed Asner? I don't want to think about the sexual tension between Ed Asner and Sean Connery. Even in today's more progressive 2020s, that movie would bomb. |

Do you want her on a horse or on foot? |

79thPA -- it would be grand to have matching 54mm figures for Mrs. Pedecaris and her two children, both on foot and mounted, like many 28mm figures manufacturers currently offer. Initially, for the game planned, 54mm figures on foot would suffice. But matching 54mm mounted figures would be a hoot! |

Without getting into collectors figures, the first thing that pops into mind is converting some of the pioneer women Marx recasts. |

Thank you for the recommendation, 79thPA. A Marx pioneer woman with a pump-action 12-gauge shotgun and a head scarf of yogurt-cup tin-foil may do the trick !!! |

Excellent. Sounds like a fun game. Good luck. |

You can see my 54mm version of the Wind and the Lion here: link Unfortunately, there are no close up photos of my Mrs. Pedecaris figure. I used one of the Marx Pioneer woman and gave her a Winchester rifle. For the children I used Britains Victorian school children. You can probably find something suitable if you search for Marx recasts. |
