I think this has even better chances of being successful nowadays, given autonomous capabilities. You could make them smaller and submersible and pre-position them, as well as larger barges that travel with the fleet. |

the UK, the Netherlands and Australia have been looking at this for a while, I think the Germans too. Look for a Dutch tech demonstrator from Damen in the next couple of years |
