I'm doing surveys for my PhD research on tactical wargame ‘accuracy' and how games might be improved. Here is the questionnaire for accuracy and improvement: link . If you find you can't give a full answer, or give an answer in the way that you would like, I'd be delighted to hear your thoughts via my email: nicholas.riggs20@bathspa.ac.uk . Many thanks in advance, Nick |

Survey completed. Agree with the above, a good selection of questions. Looks like you are UK based; I strongly suggest you reach out to any veterans organization or even the closest training base for insights from NCOs or junior officers. Combat experience helps, but well trained combat arms soldiers even without that experience can give you deep insights on the flaws between gaming and actuality. Good luck; I'm actually surprised this was accepted as a PhD thesis. Academia is generally hostile to (in my experience) to such works as in the current era tend to focus more on the social aspects of military service. |
